In terms of challenges for Spain it has to be the paperwork, it really is a pain in the neck here.
My life before leaving for Spain was quite fine, I was living in Greece for a couple of months and I was just about to start my Master’s in England. I had a job and I was looking for a place to live and I knew Spain from earlier, I loved the lifestyle so that’s why I decided to come here.
In regards to my family and close ones I am grateful, as I have a lovely family and my parents are still together. My mum is a little bit attached to me and she would love that I came back to my home-country, but she understands that I feel fine living abroad. My childhood was lovely, as a kid I was always an introvert, so my interests have developed around enjoying nature and going for a hike.
The first time I left my country was when I decided to leave to study for my bachelor’s degree. That was, when I went to England and ever since I kept on living abroad, which is going to be over 5 years now. I am european, and most of my life I have been living in Europe, so I haven’t had many obstacles or cultural barriers.
Originally, I am from the Czech Republic but I also lived in England and Greece, and currently I am living in Spain. I ended up where I am now because whilst studying I did an Erasmus in Spain. That was the first time that I spent a couple of months here and I enjoyed it and that is the reason I came back. In terms of challenges for Spain it has to be the paperwork, it really is a pain in the neck here.
At the moment, my goal is that I need to change my job. That is the only decision I have right now, whether I stay in Barcelona or somewhere else. In the future, I just want to enjoy my life like I am doing right now, as I am quite happy already with almost everything, so if I am able to keep my lifestyle as it is, everything is going to be fine pretty much!
